Who are The Big Image Works?

As a team they work together to make sure your wedding is captured the way you want it; whether you choose a traditional, reportage, off the wall style or a mixture of all three.


The Big Image Works  is a company founded by two photographers and designers, Mark Turner and Philip Hart, who, having worked together for over five years, have developed a successful business providing their clients with a professional and efficient service. We create unique memories beautifully presented for you to enjoy for years to come.

Philip has worked extensively in the photographic industry, both as a teacher, lecturer and wedding photographer. His speciality, apart from weddings is portraiture and Fine Art Photography, producing images with depth and integrity. He is fastidious about getting the right shot that best relays the essence of the day or character of the client at a portrait session. Numerous images have been commercially produced and are sold as prints in the United States and Europe.

Mark has worked at Shepperton Film studios producing photographic back drops for exhibitions and concerts and spent many years designing and painting murals followed by some TV and radio work. Along with Philip, Mark has designed four award winning gardens in the UK and America... What's that got to do with photography I here you say! Well the gardens used  photography in a unique fashion to add magic and mystery, some images being 6 meters in length.

Our aim is to be as inconspicuous as possible on your wedding day,  We always do our best to blend in.There's nothing worse than overbearing dictatorial photographers who want to get the job done and rush off to another venue.... So we stay all day. We are dedicated to capturing your wedding from the bride's preparations to the end of the festivities.

The Big Image Works also covers family portraiture, social functions, corporate events and commercial shoots. Rates on application.
